Description
This Networking Kit is designed for easy and fast development of networking applications based on hyperstone E1-32X CPU, 10BaseT-Ethernet (10 Mbit/s) and the TCP/IP protocol suite. A hardware add-on module with an ethernet controller chip for hyperstone’s development boards is supplied within the Kit. It makes it ready to plug into a 10BaseT ethernet network and run the demonstration software (basic TCP/IP Client/Server communication). The network communication from the PC to the target system can take place in a direct way with a cross cable, over the local network (10BaseT) or even over an Internet connection. Multi-target or target-to-target connections are also possible.
Prerequisites for operation
hyperstone StarterKit with E1-32X CPU or hyperstone hyBoard with E1-32X CPU.
hyperstone Software Development Tools incl. hyRTK, preferably most recent version.
PC with Win95/98 and 10BaseT Ethernet Adapter Card, any model will do.
Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or Java Development Kit (JDK) version 1.2.2 (Java2) or newer for Windows 95/98/NT to run the PC part of the Client/Server demonstration software. The most recent JRE is also shipped with the Kit.
