Hyperstone, iAd, and Softing today announced the Real-Time Ethernet Alliance. Based on Hyperstone's hyNet family of network processors, partners will combine their products and expertise, supporting all major Real-Time Ethernet protocols in a flexible and comprehensive technology platform. The technology roadmap includes support of the ETHERNET Powerlink, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT real-time protocols.Hyperstone will provide processor hardware expertise through the hyNet family of processors, which are specifically designed to support several RTE standards.

ModelSim with SystemVerilog DPI Speeds Simulation
and Debug of C Models
Hyperstone accelerates its RTL-simulation by raising the level of abstraction from netlists to C models. This was made possible through the SystemVerilog DPI in ModelSim®. ModelSim's interactive C-debugger also helped reduce the time to verification closure.
